Thread Forming

Our thread forming capabilities are up to 1 3/8 inch or M36.  Whether it is a small diameter part or long part, we have the roll forming machines to handle the work.
For high volume fasteners, we have automatic high speed flat rollers.  For large precision parts, we have hand feed cylindrical rollers.

Advantages of roll forming threads versus cutting threads include:

• High speed rapid production – ( 50 parts per minute up to 300 parts per minute).
• The cold worked thread is 20% harder than a cut thrread
• No wasted material from machining
• Increase in fatigue rresistance
• Increase in wear resistance
• Lengths up 10″ or 254mm
